I am truly humbled and honored to be the State Representative for Shrewsbury and Westborough, the 11th Worcester District. While I am still “new” to Beacon Hill, I am working diligently to represent the best interests of Shrewsbury and Westborough. I work with colleagues on both sides of the aisle so that we have a better chance to bring real reform to the Commonwealth. My focus is on getting the economy moving again, providing businesses the proper climate to create jobs and supporting our community endeavors. I enjoy meeting with constituents and other interested parties to learn about the many important issues facing our communities and our State.
I am very pleased to have been appointed to three committees for the 2013-2014 Session:
- House Committee on Ways and Means
- Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture.
- House Committee on Ethics
I am honored to be given the opportunity to serve on the Ways and Means Committee where I will have the chance to work with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to chart a course that is fiscally responsible for all the taxpayers in the Commonwealth. Furthermore, I am also looking forward to continuing my work on the Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture Committee where I can lend my background and perspective as an avid outdoorsman and conservationist. As a new member of the Ethics Committee, I vow to make sure that we hold ourselves in the House of Representatives to a higher standard. I am extremely excited to serve on all three committees where I hope to continue to be an advocate for fiscal restraint, government accountability and for the removal of roadblocks created by our government that adversely affect economic prosperity, municipal efficiency and individual freedoms.
